Dr. Timothy Cowthorn joined Greystone OB/GYN in 2004. He specializes in high risk pregnancies and minimally invasive surgery He has particular interest and expertise in robotic surgery.

Dr. Cowthorn has been involved in medical executive leadership for many years at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital and Piedmont Newton Hospital. He has served as the Chief of Staff at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital. Dr. Cowthorn enjoys community activities and is involved with the March of Dimes, Vitiligo Man of Action, and The First Tee, a golf program for children.

As a former Tulane offensive tackle, Dr. Cowthorn enjoys sports. He has four children, two girls and two boys, who want to follow their dad into the medical field and who keep him very busy.
